Abstract
This chapter outlines some of the major ways in which practices in the areas of education, parenting, counselling, human relations, work culture and healing can be deepened by using the Integral-developmental perspective. It looks at the hidden curriculum of modern age as outlined by Robert Kegan and proposes an alternate curriculum based on Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s writings that takes cognizance of the inner psychic and spiritual parts of the Being. The chapter ends by briefly noting the challenges of using the Integral-developmental framework for building theory, guiding research and practice.
As if a sea exploring its own depths,
A living Oneness widened at its core
And joined him to unnumbered multitudes.
A Bliss, a Light, a Power, a flame-white Love
Caught all into a sole immense embrace;
Existence found its truth on Oneness’ breast
And each became the self and space of all.
