Abstract
In order to control the machining process in turning machine centers, a software package was developed. This program has the advantage to be easily integrated in every CAD/CAM environment. It avoids machine breakdowns by checking interferences between moving objects inparallel with workpiece evolution. The operator is informed about the specific parameters of the machining process. These parameters are user modified to an appropriate application yielding a better result.
