Abstract

The incidence of HCC combined with other malignancies arising in organs other than the liver has risen continuously in recent years. As diagnostic techniques for malignant lesions have advanced and effective therapies have been introduced, the resulting early diagnosis and increased survival rate are probably reflected in the steady increase in incidence.
