Advances in Superconductivity III

Abstract

With respect to the transportation into the site deep formation, adaptability of a shaft system is under research and development by means of superconducting linear motor.

In 1988, as basic study (I), a primary experimental equipment of a linear motor was built and an experiment was held in order to verify the principle performing statical floatation test. (ISS.’89 presented before)

In 1990, as basic study (II), an experimental equipment is newly assembled with a three-phase synchronous linear motor and a dynamic experiment is carried out using it.
