Prediction of Prognosis for Hearing in Ménière’s Disease

  • Chapter
Ménière’s Disease

Abstract

In patients with Ménière’s disease, hearing has been known to fluctuate, especially in the early stages. In some cases, even in early stages, however, hearing deteriorates progressively and never recovers. If these cases could be predicted, we could try an intensive treatment in an effort to prevent hearing loss, calling up on both surgical and conservative techniques without delay.
