Abstract

The goal of this presentation is not to present new applications of virtual reality, but rather to evaluate the impact of the popularity of these types of applications on the architecture of systems and more particularly on the specifications of the ubiquitous workstation. I believe that one of the major motivations for pushing the investment into technology of information is the requirement of world synthesis.
