Abstract

We have used the change in rate of reaction with temperature to establish the mode of recovery of vecuronium, vec, and decamethonium, dec, in man. The increase in rate of reaction for a 10°C rise in temperature (Q10) for a physical reaction, such as diffusion, is about 1.5 and a biological reaction, such as conformation change in receptor structure on ligand binding, about 2.8 [1].
