Histological Aspects of Certain Benign Brain Tumors: Review of Current Topics

  • Conference paper
Brain Tumor

Abstract

Histological features of certain mostly new entities of brain tumors are reviewed here. These include central neurocytoma, subependymal giant cell astrocytoma, pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma, desmoplastic infantile ganglioglioma, meningoangiomatosis, and aggressive papillary tumor of the temporal bone. All these entitles were reported to have favorable outcomes following surgical removal.
