Abstract

Since the development of cardiac surgery and myocardial protection, open heart surgery has been carried out for severely ill patients with heart disease. Sorjie of these patients need mechanical circulatory assistance. Intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP), V-A bypass, and artificial assist devices have been used according to the severity of heart failure, and satisfactory results have been obtained.
