Complications in FUE

Chapter

Abstract

Most patients opt for FUE surgery to avoid the linear scar of FUT. However, if the follicular unit extraction is not done properly, then it may lead to a number of complications in the donor area including visible white dots, a moth-eaten appearance, folliculitis, cyst formation, necrosis of donor area, a see-through appearance, and loss of implanted hair.
