Abstract
Among diseases with wrist pain as the chief complaint, De Quervain’s disease, which is tenosynovitis involving the first extensor compartment, thumb carpometacarpal osteoarthritis, which involves the articulation between the trapezium and the first metacarpal bone of the thumb, and carpal-tunnel syndrome, which is median nerve entrapment damage, are described.
