Basic Transport Phenomena in Materials Engineering

Abstract

Solid particle injection processes are often used in the steelmaking industry. Explanation is mainly given on solid–gas and solid–liquid two-phase flows in a pipe and a reactor together with solid–gas two-phase jet. Experimental techniques for the shape, size, number, and moving velocity of solid particles are discussed.
