Abstract

The main goal of every user interface should be the support of an easy communication and interaction between people and computer applications. In this thesis we have presented a systematic way to develop user interfaces for wearable computing applications. The systematic approach proposed mainly consists of a new evaluation method to evaluate wearable user interfaces or their artifacts in a controlled environment, as well as a special model-based software tool that facilitates the implementation of such interfaces with reusable components.
