Zusammenfassung

Einzellfallanalysen sind detaillierte Untersuchungen einzelner Fälle, die keinem bestimmten Format folgen müssen.567 Sie erlauben dem Untersuchenden, die vorliegenden Datenmengen zu verarbeiten, eine eingehende Kenntnis der Einzelfälle zu erlangen und beschleunigen so anschließende Analyseschritte: „The overall idea is to become intimately familiar with each case as a stand-alone entity. This process allows the unique patterns to emerge before investigators push to generalize patterns across cases. In addition, it gives investigators a rich familiarity with each case which, in turn, accelerates cross-case comparison.“568 Dieses Kapitel beschreibt daher die umfassenden Einzelfallstudien zu den BSC-Anwendungen der sechs teilnehmenden Unternehmen. Zunächst soll jedoch kurz die Struktur der folgenden Einzelfallanalysen erläutert werden.
