Auszug
Kundenzufriedenheit stellt eines der wichtigsten Konstrukte der Marketingforschung dar. „Consumer satisfaction is the central element of the marketing concept.“ Ferner fungiert es aufgrund seiner postulierten Verhaltenswirkungen als Schlüsselvariable und strategischer Imperativ für den ökonomischen Erfolg eines Unternehmens. Eine Vielzahl von Studien liefert empirische Belege für die positiven Wirkungen von Kundenzufriedenheit auf erfolgsrelevante Größen wie die Kundenbindung, die Kundenloyalität oder die erhöhte Preisbereitschaft von Konsumenten. Diese Erkenntnisse führen dazu, dass die Maximierung der Kundenzufriedenheit eine hochpriorisierte Strategie bei einer Vielzahl von Unternehmen darstellt.
