In diesem Beitrag wird der Frage nachgegangen, welche Kontroversen in den nächsten Jahren auf jene wirken werden, die auf Gebieten der Wirtschaftsinformatik in Unternehmen arbeiten. Keiner der Kontroversen ist neu, zu keiner der Kontroversen sind Lösungen zu erwarten, die übergreifend und langwährend wirken; vielmehr werden diese Spannungsfelder berufliches Wirken in der Wirtschaftsinformatik weiterhin prägen.
