Zusammenfassung
Das Volumen des internationalen Kapitaltransfers ist in den letzten 20 Jahren kontinuierlich angestiegen. Eine wesentliche Ursache hierfür ist der Anstieg der weltweiten Produktion an Gütern und Dienstleistungen. Verbunden mit dieser Entwicklung ist die Zunahme der internationalen Arbeitsteilung, sodass Güter und Dienstleistungen heute in steigendem Maße international gehandelt werden. Der internationale Warenverkehr löst zwangsläufig grenzüberschreitende Finanztransaktionen aus.
