From Initial Idea to Low-Fidelity Prototype: Easymeeting and the Mobile Prosumer

  • Chapter
Book cover Ubiquitous Computing

Abstract

This chapter presents two case studies: Easymeeting, a meeting room management system (in chapter 5.1), and the Mobile Prosumer, a smart product information system at the point of sale (in chapter 5.2). These case studies represent two different methods for evaluating and theorizing about the first two stages of the process model (initial idea and low-fidelity prototype). The findings from the case studies are used to establish a set of guidelines for designing NFC-based Ubicomp applications according to the research questions of the work.
