Abstract

The present work embarked from the diagnosis that we are currently in a time of shifting societal valuestowards greater balance between economic, social, and environmental concerns and that this shift has accelerated through various excesses of the economic systemboth on macro and micro levels. With regard to corporations, the introductory part of this work identifies CR as key conceptto spur an integration of economic, social and environmental considerations and acknowledges the dedicated role of leadershipfor the applicationof CR in organisations. In large-scale organisations, especially formal systemsare necessary to invoke broad change throughout the entire leadership hierarchies, across sites, and regional destinations.
