Um den höheren Detaillierungsgrad bei der Charakterisierung von Outsourcing-Beziehungen zu erreichen, der für die Gestaltung von Lösungsansätzen notwendig ist, wurde eine empirische Untersuchung durchgeführt, über deren Ergebnisse im Folgenden berichtet wird. Zuvor werden Untersuchungsdesign und zentrale Schritte der Untersuchungsdurchführung vorgestellt.
