Auszug
In jüngster Zeit wurden zwei wichtige Berichte zum Stand der Klimaforschung vorgelegt, die so genannte Stern-Review1 im Herbst 2006 und der so genannte IPCC-Report2 in mehreren Tranchen im Laufe des Jahres 2007. Beide Berichte erhielten weltweite Aufmerksamkeit. Beide werden inzwischen als Meilensteine auf dem Weg zu Maßnahmen gegen die Erderwärmung angesehen. Beide wurden intensiv politisch diskutiert und im Großen und Ganzen mit Zustimmung aufgenommen.
