Die Ergebnisse der PMS-Studie 2004 legen nahe, die Schnittstelle zwischen System und Mensch näher zu untersuchen. Anhand des Human Performance Modells416 werden zunächst die wesentlichen Variablen im Zusammenspiel von PMS und den darin integrierten Mitarbeitern herausgearbeitet (Abschn. 5.1.1). Anschließend werden aus diesen Variablen und den nach Abschluss der PMS-Studie 2004 formulierten Forschungsfragen417 konkrete Hypothesen abgeleitet (Abschn. 5.1.2).
