Zusammenfassung
Bereits 1962 brachte der Nahrungsmittelkonzern Nestlé in Deutschland die Schokolinsen Smarties mit Zuckerüberzug in acht verschiedenen Farben auf den Markt. Seither erfuhr das Produkt eine beachtliche Ausweitung. Als besonderer Clou gilt Fruity Smarties, in denen statt der üblichen Schokolade der Goldbärengummi von Haribo steckt. Die Besonderheit bei dieser Zusammenarbeit war, dass zur Entwicklung, Produktion und Vermarktung dieses Produktes zwischen den beiden Marken (Smarties und Haribo) eine Allianz vereinbart wurde. Das gleiche organisatorische Geflecht stand auch Pate dafür, dass in Langnese-Eis inzwischen zusätzlich Milka Kuhflecken stecken. Aber auch im Sportbereich kommt bei der Beantwortung der Frage nach der Gestaltung neuer Produkte in jüngster Zeit in den Unternehmen die Idee auf, Marken im Sinne einer Allianz miteinander zu verknüpfen. Stellvertretend für viele Beispiele sollen die „FC Bayern MasterCard“ oder der „Adi Racer Low“, der von Adidas und dem Reifenhersteller Good Year vermarktete Sportschuh mit spezieller Gummisohle, dienen. Und der laufbegeisterte Freizeitsportler joggt neuerdings mit dem von Nike und Sony entwickelten Portable Sport Audio, ohne dass er sich etwa über eine springende CD echauffieren muss.
