Abstract
In the following two chapters, NMR measurements on LaO1−xF x FeAs with x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.075, and 0.10 will be presented. The presentation and discussion of the data will be separated into the normal state properties (this Chapter) and the nature of the superconducting state (following Chapter 7). A comparison to the data of other groups on the same compound and similar ones will be included.
