Bei diesen Indizes sind unterschiedliche Nummerierungen nicht zu erkennen. Sie kommen erst bei eindimensionalem Index ins Spiel, der ja bei der algorithmischen Realisierung verwendet werden muss.

\(\mathbf{A}\) ist die Matrix-Darstellung der linearen Abbildung \(L_{h}\) bezüglich einer Basis des Raums der Gitterfunktionen auf \(G_{h}^{{\infty}}\). \(\mathbf{A}\) und \(L_{h}\) stehen dadurch in einer eineindeutigen Beziehung.

Dabei bedeutet das \(\pm\)-Zeichen, dass auf beiden Seiten der Gleichung entweder \(+\) oder \(-\) genommen wird.
