Zusammenfassung
Das Konzept der Ökosystemdienstleistungen ist eng mit dem Schutz und der nachhaltigen Nutzung der biologischen Vielfalt verknüpft, in diesem Zusammenhang entstanden und besonders durch das Millennium Ecosystem Assessment bekannt geworden (MEA 2005a, b; Beck et al. 2006 ).
Der hat am besten für die Zukunft gesorgt, der für die Gegenwart sorgt (Franz Kafka).

Landschaftsdienstleistungen (▶ Abschn. 3.4): Hierbei wird die Sichtweise über die Ökosysteme hinaus erweitert und eine Betonung auf ästhetische, ethische und soziokulturelle Aspekte sowie anthropogene Veränderungen gelegt. Durch die stärkere räumliche Ausrichtung kann diese Betrachtungsweise eine höhere Relevanz für die praktische räumliche Planung, vor allem auch die Landschaftsplanung, haben und partizipative Ansätze begünstigen (Kirchhoff et al. 2012
