Zusammenfassung
Wahn ist ein Phänomen, des weltweit in allen kulturellen Kontexten vorkommt. Im Rahmen der interkulturellen Psychiatrie gelingt es, mehr Einblicke darüber zu erlangen (Murphy 1967, Pfeiffer 1994, Tseng 2001). Der soziokulturelle Kontext beeinflusst Wahnbereitschaft, Wahnfähigkeit, Wahnthematik bzw. Wahninhalte, Wahnausgestaltung, Verlauf, Behandlung und damit Ausgang (Scharfetter 2002).
