Zusammenfassung

Erkrankungen der Transportgefäße sind im Kindesalter selten und meistens auf eine Fehlentwicklung zurückzuführen. Stenosierende Veränderungen und Verschlüsse kommen häufiger vor als Aneurysmen. Aneurysmatische Erkrankungen bei Kindern können sowohl im Arterien- als auch im Venensystem auftreten. Allerdings sind Aneurysmen bei Kindern im Vergleich zum Erwachsenenalter selten zu finden, da die degenerativen Formen (z. B. an der Aorta: Atherosklerose, Dissektion) noch nicht entwickelt sind. Die meisten Aneurysmen haben eine kongenitale Ursache. Primäre Aneurysmen entstehen entweder im Rahmen einer das elastische und kollagene Gerüst betreffenden Grunderkrankung oder lokoregional infolge einer Texturstörung [5].
