Conversation in Ford and Ford’s model includes ‘what is said’ as well as ‘what is done in correlation with what is said’ (Ford and Ford 1995: 545), i.e. symbols, artifacts and other products of corporate communication. Their own focus is, however, on verbal interaction. Therefore, the terms ‘communication’ or ‘corporate communication’ are continuously used where Ford and Ford applied the term ‘conversation’.
