Abstract
A group decision support system is presented. The main concern is an effective support for the consensus reaching process. The point of departure are linguistic assessments of options with respect to multiple criteria. These are processed to obtain individual and group preference structures as well as an assessment of the consensus in the group. A pilot implementation of the system in the WWW environment is presented.
