Searching for 6Li D-state Effects

Abstract

It is shown that transfer reactions induced by polarized 6Li can be used as a tool to determine the sign of the D/S state asymptotic ratio in the α + d configuration in 6Li. T20 is found to be the observable with larger sensitivity both in (6Li, d) and (6Li,α) reactions.
