Abstract

The nucleon light-cone wave function is expanded in terms of two-body meson-(baryonic core) Fock components. The parameters of this expansion are found from both low and high-energy physics. We find many interesting and surprising results for the flavour, spin and electromagnetic structure of the nucleon. The model leads to asymmetry of the light sea quarks which has important consequences for nucleon-nucleon Drell-Yan processes. The experimental Q 2 dependence of the neutron electric form factor is reproduced.
