Abstract

We have studied the role of the nucleon isobars Δ(1232) and N* = N(1440) in deuteron electromagnetic form factors. Here we report on our results for the electric structure function A(q 2) of elastic ed scattering in the domain 0 ≤ q 2 ≤ 80 fm −2 of momentum transfers.
