Zusammenfassung

Die Bewußtseinsformen Emotionalität und Rationalität werden häufig als unvereinbar angesehen, ohne zu berücksichtigen, daß sie isoliert voneinander kaum auftreten — mit Ausnahme vielleicht bei schweren psychotischen Störungen. Nachfolgend soll die Eigenart beider Bewußtseinsaspekte, ihre Wechselwirkungen und ihre zentralnervösen Regulationsstrukturen aus psychologischer Sicht beschrieben werden.

Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Informationsverarbeitung, Kommunikation und Ökopsychologie. Kognitionspsychologische Publikationen über Begriffsbildungsund Urteilsprozesse sowie über verbale und nonverbale Kommunikation. Gegenwärtiges Forschungsinteresse: Modelle der psychischen Repräsentation der Wirklichkeit, Entstehung von Evidenzurteilen und aussagenlogisch-statistische Analyse von Daten.
