Dieses Dokument enthält die Grundsätze einer bedürfnisgerechten psychiatrischen Betreuung der Bevölkerung und einen auf die österreichische Situation zugeschnittenen ersten Forderungskatalog. Vorangestellt sind seine Entstehungsgeschichte sowie eine knappe historische Herleitung der Notwendigkeit für eine Reform der psychiatrischen Versorgung.
Summary
This document sets forth the principles of psychiatric care geared to the needs of the population and lists priorities tailored to the situation in Austria. The first part of the paper describes the history of the document and briefly illustrates the necessity of reforms in psychiatric care in the light of historical developments.
