Zusammenfassung
Die Prinzipien der chirurgischen Behandlung von Karzinomen im Bereich des Unterkiefers, des Mundbodens und der vorderen zwei Drittel der Zunge: „Weite Resektion im Gesunden und radikale Blockausräumung der regionalen Lymphknoten“ wurden von Crile [2] aufgestellt. Bis heute hat sich an diesen therapeutischen Grundsätzen nichts Wesentliches geändert, auch wenn seit Einführung von Strahlen- und Chemotherapie Diskussionen über Indikation und Effektivität der verschiedenen Behandlungsmethoden entstanden sind.
