Zusammenfassung
Für die meisten Ärzte beginnt hier die Grenze zwischen Medizin und Zahnmedizin und greift darüber hinaus noch auf andere Disziplinen über. Der Facharzt für plastische Chirurgie sieht die meisten der fazialen Krankheiten, und es besteht kein Zweifel, daß die genetische Beratung ein integraler Bestandteil in der Führung dieser Patienten ist. Selbst kleine Gesichtsanomalien können große Beschwerden verursachen, und genaue Informationen über die möglichen Risiken für die Nachkommen bringen eine große Erleichterung für solche Personen mit sich.
