Zusammenfassung

Nach Angaben der Hersteller ist bei Verwendung von IMZ-Implantaten im zahnlosen Unterkiefer eine bewegliche Steg-Gelenkverbindung zwischen Implantat und Prothese anzuwenden. Die berichteten Erfahrungen mit Steg-Geschiebearbeiten auf IMZ-Implantaten im zahnlosen Unterkiefer zeigen jedoch, daß dieses Verbindungskonzept bei höherem Patientenkomfort erfolgreich auf implantatgestützte Prothesen angewandt werden kann.

Rigid Anchorage on IMZ Implants in the Edentulous Mandible. According to the producer IMZ implants in the edentulous mandible should be connected to a flexible bar joint structure. The reported experiences with rigid anchorage using IMZ implants in the edentulous mandible show that this principle can be successfully applied to tissue-integrated dentures and offers greater patient comfort.
