Zusammenfassung
Zum Aufbau des atrophen Kiefers hat sich Hydroxylapatitgranulat, in ein schlauchförmig genähtes Vikryl®-Netz gefüllt, als vorteilhaft erwiesen. Der Kieferkamm läßt sich damit formstabil erhöhen, und ein Abgleiten des Granulates in die umgebenden Weichteile kann verhindert werden. Nahtdehiszenzen und postoperative Nekrosen über dem Implantat heilen ab, ohne daß dieses entfernt werden muß. An der Abteilung für Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie in Innsbruck wurde bei 50 Patienten ein Kieferkammaufbau mit Hydroxylapatit durchgeführt. Über die Ergebnisse und Erfahrungen damit wird berichtet.
Summary
Alveolar Ridge Augmentation with Hydroxylapatite. Hydroxylapatite particles filled in a Vicryl® tube turned out to be extremely useful for alveolar ridge augmentation. The atrophic alveolar ridge can be reconstructed with good dimensional stability and drifting of the material away from the desired site can be prevented. Suture dehiscences and postoperative necroses overlying the implanted material heal well without the need to remove the implants. At the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in Innsbruck ridge augmentation with hydroxylapatite has sofar been done in 50 patients with atrophic alveolar ridges. Results and experiences with this procedure are reviewed.
