Abstract
Starting from the modern QCD vacuum picture an outline is given of the confinement, spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry (SBCS) and effective Lagrangians of quarks and pions. Hadron models are shortly discussed with an emphasis on comparison of bag models and quark potential model (QPM). NN interaction is derived in the framework of QPM and compared with the quark compound bag model (QCB).
