Part of the book series: Few-Body Systems ((FEWBODY,volume 1))

Abstract

The five reactions of the πNN system, πd → πd, πd → πNN, NN → NN, NN → πd, and NN → πNN are calculated simultaneously using a relativistic Faddeev theory in which the spectator particles are on the mass shell and the exchanged particles are off the mass shell. This theory includes also a direct nucleon-nucleon interaction as represented by the Paris potential.
