Part of the book series: Few-Body Systems ((FEWBODY,volume 1))

Abstract

A brief review is given of elements of the Bates program of electromagnetic probing of few nucleon systems. A few topics on electron scattering are discussed in some detail at the expense of the rest of the program. The selection is based on the relative amount of laboratory resources used in the recent past and planned for the near future. An attempt is made to provide an adequate list of references for those who wish to find out more about work which is mentioned only in passing.
