Abstract
Instability is not a main feature of cervical arthrosis. Anterior and posterior osteophytes, and disc narrowing usually cause a marked stiffness of this vertebral segment. In a review on cervical instability, Bailey [1] reports no less than nine causes of instability but does not mention arthrosis.
