Part of the book series: Cell Biology Monographs ((CELLBIOL,volume 12))

Abstract

The genes involved in the biogenesis of eukaryotic ribosomes include:

  1. 1.

The genes of the four rRNAs: S-rRNA, L-rRNA, 5.8 S rRNA, and 5 SrRNA,

  2. 2.

The genes for the structural ribosomal proteins (r-proteins),

  3. 3.
