Untersuchungen am Landes-Meteorit

  • Chapter
Analyse extraterrestrischen Materials

Abstract

The structure of the iron matrix and the silicate inclusions of the Landes meteorite are described and compared with those of other silicate-bearing irons. The evidence suggests that the inclusions are intermediate in type, between Odessa- and Copiapo-inclusions. The bulk composition strongly supports the suggestion that the inclusions are chondritic.
