Abstract
Herpes simplex virus and pseudorabies virus will multiply in a wide variety of cells cultivated in vitro, some of which are listed in Table 4. It has been reported that herpes simplex virus will multiply in human leukocytes in vitro, provided the cells are supplied with phytohemagglutinin (Nahmias et al., 1964). This observation may be of some clinical interest.
