Abstract

In the previous chapters (III–V) a number of different production functions have been discussed. The cases presented do not, however, form an exhaustive catalogue of single-output production models: other cases are possible and the characteristic features of the respective models discussed may be combined in various ways. Only empirical research can bring to light which of the models are of practical relevance and which are not.
