Abstract

Previous studies of electrical properties of thermally ionized gases are reviewed briefly, emphasizing the use of microwaves, which is the method employed in the present investigation. The microwave absorption method, developed by W. Low and the author is explained briefly, a short description of the apparatus and calibration procedure following.
