Es werden zunächst die Grundlagen der Wasser-Elektrolyse, der Stand gegenwärtiger Technologie von Elektrolyten, Elektroden, Membranen etc. diskutiert, und schließlich werden einzelne Verfahren zur Herstellung von H2 im Detail besprochen. Zum Schluß werden wirtschaftliche und technologische Betrachtungen angestellt.
