Zusammenfassung
Da chemische Raketen, gemessen an den kühnen Absichten der modernen Rau mfahrt wie die bisherige Erfahrung lehrt, ein zu geringes Energieniveau aufweisen, werden derzeit verschiedene nichtchemische Antriebsarten studiert, die vielleicht in Zukunft geeignet Scin könnten, den chemischen Antrieb zu ergänzen oder abzulösen. Um den Standort des chemischen Antriebes und die unter Umständen bei ihm noch liegenden Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten richtig abschätzen zu können, ihn also in ein richtiges Koordinatensystem zu stellen, sollen die Grundlagen und der derzeitige Entwicklungsstand dieser potentiellen Zukunftsantriebe kurz erörtert werden.
